At the first training session we had a mixture of abilities
1. Beginners, running for the first time
2. Joggers, occasional runners
3. Runners, already running at least 3 times a week
It is likely that participants will be divided into 3 groups in line with this
If you are a beginner take a look at these.

If you are already jogging or running, you may find a training schedule appropriate to your present level of fitness, the time you have available, and whatever goal or target you may have, if you search on the Internet,.
There are a couple of links to sites that provide Training Guides on the Links page. If you find others please let me know.
My favourite training guide is an article that goes all the way back to 1985, and you can read it here: The Perfect Pace
This article was written by Amby Burfoot and Bill Billing Jr. and was published in Runner's World, Nov 1985. This was the training formula that took John Treacy to a Silve Medal in his first ever marathon in the 1984 Los Angeles Olympics.
You can adapt it to match your current level of fitness, whatever that might be.
