Belfast and Limerick marathon achievements

This week witnessed the red and white shirts tackle the roads of Belfast and Limerick as members took on respective city Marathons

Belfast marathon
Belfast marathon continues to be tone of the main goals for many of the Sperrin Harriers runners each year. We had many experienced runners this year who ran commendable times, but a special mention must go to Declan Morrison on his PB and to Damien Kelly who ran his first marathon in a great time of 3.39.39.

Limerick Marathon
Two of our runners made the long trip down to Limerick marathon last weekend. Well done men for the huge efforts in training and for the ambitious goals you set yourselves.

There were some fine runs at MUSA Parkrun with Fred Devlin finishing in just over 17 minutes and Gillian Dunseath posting a good time to finish as second lady.
