Harriers Have a Busy and Successful Week

In an action packed week for Sperrin Harriers our runners achieved podium places and PBs in abundance. The club attended the Walled City 10 Mile Road Race, Jimmy’s 10k, along with a variety of Parkruns, also holding the Winter League Awards Night on Saturday evening.

He was followed by Gordon Linton who secured his own PB of 1:01:04, with Mark Gibson completing the trio of personal bests on crossing the line in 1:01:09. Sperrin Harriers thank all those who ran in the series, their supporters, everyone involved in the Winter League’s organisation, and our generous sponsors Oliver Corey Garages, Coagh Pharmacy, TES, and Cathcarts Centra Magherafelt.

Charis Cancer Charity Donation

Club Chair Andrew Newell, and Vice Chair Dearbhla Glackin, met with the Charis Cancer Charity on Saturday 5th to present a cheque on behalf of Sperrin Harriers. This will be added to the fundraiser which was held by the Hamill family at the Harriers’ Drum Manor 10k Winter League event, in memory of our much missed friend and club member Sean Hamill.
