Brilliant running from you all!

The results from the Ballinderry Road Race have been included in Sperrin Harriers’ Summer Series, a club based competition which will continue with September’s Belfast Half Marathon.

Hillsborough Castle and Gardens Running Festival

The inaugural Hillsborough Castle and Gardens Running Festival took place on Sunday, an event which included 5k, 10k, and half marathon distances, along with family races. The day started and finished within the striking grounds of Hillsborough Castle, including the local area’s rural roads and historic attractions.

Very well done to Harrier Jane Thom who completed the hilly and challenging half marathon course in 2:01:00, amazingly her third such race in as many weeks.

EAMS Knockathon 2019

The first East Antrim Marathon Series Knockathon took place on Sunday in Greenisland, near Belfast, and involved a 10 mile route where runners could determine the number of laps they wished to complete. The looping course included many scenic views, also passing the historic Knockagh Monument.

Congratulations to Harrier Deirdre Conway who covered a tremendous 31.51 miles at the event.
