Harriers Parkrun round up

The runners of Sperrin Harriers put in strong performances across a number of parkrun events across the province.

At MUSA Cookstown, James Hepburn achieved the only PB of the weekend, finishing in a time of 20.14. Brendan Gildernew and Paula Glasgow finished as third male and female with times of 18.36 and 23.19, respectively. Also taking part were; Sam Cuddy (19.56), Malcolm Creighton (22.06), Tanya Quinn (23.21) and Barry O’Neill (27.24).

Taking part at Dungannon Park were; Malcolm McCullough (21.41), Martin Kolbohm (23.54), Cate Farley (25.14) and Terry Hughes (26.13).

Andrew Newell (18.06) and Gordon Linton (18.59) both got 2nd place finishes at Larne and Garvagh Forest parkruns, respectively.

Rebecca Flanagan took on Hillsborough parkrun, finishing in a great time of 24.23.

Patsy Hughes completed Citypark in 23.38.

Sperrin Harriers have launched the 2021/22 Winter League series. The Winter League has grown into one of Northern Ireland’s best loved set of trail races, attracting all types of runners from beginners to top athletes. Its popularity is testament to the picturesque venues, great atmosphere, and warm welcome that make the League so unique.
