The runners of Sperrin Harriers continue to make the most of the limited races currently on offer as well as various parkruns events.
On Monday 2nd August, Andy Linton competed in the Broughshane 5k and finished with a swift time of 22.21.
On Friday evening, three Harriers took on the Mallusk 5 Mile Road Race. The route began with a long punishing climb lasting nearly 2 miles, but it gave way for a long fast downhill dash for the finish line. Andrew Newell was the first Harrier home in a time of 28.14. He was closely followed by the dynamic duo of Gordon Linton and Mark Gibson who finished in times of 30.30 and 30.36 respectively. Both Gordon and Mark earned personal bests for the 5 mile distance.
At MUSA parkrun, Adrian Devlin was the first Harrier to finish and he did so with a personal best time of 17.04. He was followed by Paul McLaughlin (18.39), Jarleth Loughran (19.55), Tanya Quinn (23.38), Catherine Farley (24.11) and Damien Atkinson (24.55).
At Dungannon Park parkrun, Laura Treanor was the second female finisher with a time of 24.28.
Kieran Campbell ran well at Citypark parkrun and finished with a time of 22.57.
On Sunday morning, Patsy Hughes took on the Féile 10k in Belfast and finished with a time of 47.47.
